My name is Nancy and I have been knitting since I was 9 years old. I love to knit! It is my passion and almost like a meditation, with the added benefit of a wearable garment at the end. I created Near North Studio as a venue for selling my knitting creations and sharing the serious warmth.

 

In 2010, I started exploring and altering Canadian patterns and designs to accommodate differences in wool thickness and fit. All of my garments are made using 100% real sheep wool, which provides superior warmth, breath-ability, and comfort. I am now retired, spending my winters in the south, and knitting up a storm. So please visit the Near North Studio shop often, as I add new designs on a regular basis. The main base for Near North Studio is located in Ontario, Canada.
